Entergy Earns Top Workplace Honor in New Orleans
06/13/2017
The Times-Picayune awarded Entergy the 2017 Top Workplaces honor based on the results of an employee feedback survey performed by WorkplaceDynamics, a leading research firm in organizational health and workplace improvement.
The survey was sent to all Entergy employees in the greater New Orleans area and measured several workplace attributes, including alignment, execution and connection. The Top Workplaces recognition is based on one simple belief: The most successful companies are the ones that employees believe in.
“To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.”
Entergy Chairman and CEO Leo Denault also was recognized as a Top Leader in the Large Company category.
“I’m excited that Entergy is recognized on the list and would like to thank the employees who participated,” Denault said. "It’s a great recognition of the strength of Entergy as an employer in the greater New Orleans area and the commitment and dedication of all of our employees and their commitment to our customers and the communities in which we do business. I’m proud to be part of such a great team!”
