Welcome to the new, re-designed Entergy newsroom.
In today's 24/7 news cycle, it is critical for companies like Entergy to provide immediate access to new developments, multimedia and social media resources as well as our perspective on key issues. As you will see, we have updated our digital newsroom with that in mind.
But ultimately, any website today must answer one simple question: "Is it usable?"
Usability, or lack thereof, is the quickest way to either immediately grab a visitor's attention or chase them away. That's why our focus was to create a clean, easy-to-navigate online newsroom optimized for today's mobile audience.
You'll note the responsive design when viewing the newsroom from the screen of an iPhone, Android, iPad or any tablet.
For journalists and members of the media, we created a media toolkit that provides quick access to Entergy video and B-roll, biographies of our executive team, interview requests, logo downloads and Entergy press contact information.
Interested in news specifically within one of operating companies or our northeast nuclear operations? The quick launch menu was designed to quickly navigate each those respective areas.
The newsroom also marks Entergy's entrance into the blogosphere; it is where we intend to publish on a variety of topics that will range from employee profiles to perspectives on issues facing the utility industry today.
