Entergy Mississippi to Wrap up Restoration Efforts Today
04/20/2019
Entergy Mississippi workers expect to have power restored to all customers who can accept it by Saturday evening. Crews have worked around the clock to restore power to customers affected by the violent storms that swept across Mississippi Thursday. At its peak, the storm system knocked out power to 28,300 customers throughout the state.
As of 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20, we have restored power to nearly 26,000 customers. The majority of customers who remain without power are in Jackson and rural southwest Hinds County. Along with Entergy Mississippi crews and personnel, an additional 95 contract workers are engaged in the restoration effort. Crews expect to return service to all customers who can safely accept it by tonight.
