Entergy New Orleans' Pam Ferbos' Power Principle
07/31/2016
Name and title: Pam Ferbos, customer service representative, Entergy New Orleans, Inc.
How long have you been at Entergy? 32 years.
What is your Power Principle?
My power principle is living by my faith. I always strive to be the best person I can be, giving my all in everything I do – even if it means giving 110 percent – and always treating others the way I want to be treated.
What are you most proud of?
Of course my family tops the list, but my awesome career at Entergy has allowed me to work in various positions and meet great people – many of whom have inspired and motivated me along the way and have contributed to my success at the company.
How do you balance work and family?
Spending time with my family is just as important as my work at Entergy. My husband and I always set aside time for us to do something together, whether it’s going to a movie or taking a long, relaxing ride on our motorcycle. We both have elderly parents, so we try to devote as much of our time to them as possible.
Finding time for yourself is the most rewarding of all. I am working on becoming a certified exercise instructor, so I carve out time in the evenings to attend classes four times a week at the local gym.
