Entergy Service's Arrianne Keelan's Power Principle
08/15/2016
Name and title: Arrianne Keelen, human resources representative II, Entergy Services, Inc.
How long have you been at Entergy? Seven years.
What is your Power Principle? Achieve your goals and inspire others along the way.
What are you most proud of? My proudest moments were the births of my wonderful sons, Thomas and Theodore. I am also super proud of winning the Apollo Rising Star Competition at the Essence Festival and singing with Andra Day live on the Mercedes-Benz Superdome main stage!
It was amazing and affords me the opportunity to compete live at the Apollo Theater in New York in September.
What is the best work-related advice you have ever been given? If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
How involved are you in your community? I am very involved in my community. As the worship and arts director at Hosanna Fellowship Church, I oversee a liturgical dance ministry, choir, praise team and drama group.
This allows me to express my love of music while equipping and encouraging others. Additionally, I share my singing talent at many community activities, functions and conferences.
