Palmer Promoted to Director of Regulatory Affairs
01/24/2018
David Palmer has been promoted to director of regulatory affairs for Entergy Arkansas. He is currently the manager of that department.
“David’s experience and increasing responsibility over the past five years in this group, including working on all regulatory filings that go before the Arkansas Public Service Commission, makes him ideally suited to step into this position,” said Tom Kennedy, vice president of regulatory and public affairs.
Palmer began his career at the company in 2001 at the System Operations Center in Pine Bluff. From there, he’s held various engineering positions, as well as supervised meter services personnel, servicemen, and linemen in Little Rock. In 2012, he moved into regulatory affairs.
“This is a strong team and I enjoy working with everyone on it,” said Palmer. “I look forward to tackling the challenges that lie ahead and hope to build upon the successes that our group has worked so hard to achieve.”
Palmer holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and an MBA, both from Mississippi State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Arkansas. He is an alumnus of Leadership Greater Little Rock, Class XXXII, and a member of the Hat Club of Little Rock and the Board of Directors for Junior Deputy Baseball. Palmer lives in Little Rock with his wife, Mendi, and three children: Carson, Hudson and Olivia.
