Power Principle: A Conversation with Nealie Hebert

Nealie Hebert is an information technology solution architect, and she's been part of the Entergy family for 12 years.
What’s your power principle at work? Never stop learning. My dad taught me that each person we meet is an opportunity to learn something new.
What motivates you to live and work safely? My four-year-old son, Braylen, is my motivation. I get so much joy out of seeing him enjoy life that I can’t imagine not being able to do things with him.
How do you balance work and family? I believe in quality versus quantity. I make the most out of the time I have with my husband, Steven, and Braylen, ensuring the things we're doing together as a family are making lasting memories.
How are you involved in your community? I volunteer in the library of Braylen’s school.
When did you first learn about Entergy? I was born into the Entergy family. My father started working for Louisiana Power & Light and is still an Entergy employee at Ninemile Plant, nearing 40 years in May.
What do you want others to know about Entergy? Entergy truly is a family environment. I work with some of my closest friends and couldn’t imagine coming to work without them. We often spend more time with each other than our own families so we share in each’s struggles and celebrate in each’s successes.
