Control room operators will remove Indian Point's Unit 3 nuclear power plant from service for a planned maintenance shutdown on Monday evening to replace two water seals that sit between the lid of the reactor and the reactor vessel.
Security officers will be participating in scheduled training drills and weapon testing at the Indian Point Energy Center beginning August 18 and occurring on several weekdays over the next three weeks.
