Entergy Arkansas Announces New Communications Staff, Promotions

Entergy Arkansas announced new staff members and promotions within its communications team, which includes a transfer from Entergy Texas, an internal promotion, and a new local hire.
Kacee Kirschvink, APR, was named Communications Manager in the fall and worked previously for Entergy Louisiana and most recently with Entergy Texas. Before Entergy, she worked as senior communications consultant for Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO), public information officer for Shreveport Police Department, and also worked 12 years as a journalist for newspapers and broadcasting stations in Texas and Louisiana. She is accredited in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Kirschvink, originally from Corrigan, Texas, has two bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Radio-Television-Film from the Sam Houston State University Dan Rather School of Journalism in Huntsville, Texas.
David Lewis, APR, was promoted to Senior Communications Specialist and will mainly focus on media relations and social media. He has worked for Entergy Arkansas in several roles since 1990 and previously was at Combs & Company, Daisy Manufacturing and worked for three years as a newspaper reporter and photographer. Lewis is also an accredited member of PRSA and holds a journalism and photography degree from University of Arkansas.
Brandi Hinkle, APR, was recently hired to primarily manage internal communications. Before joining Entergy Arkansas, she was director of communications at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and worked in state government for more than a decade and formerly at CJRW and Yarnell’s Ice Cream. The Judsonia native was a reporter at The Jonesboro Sun and managing editor at The Daily Citizen before becoming the public information officer at Arkansas State University-Beebe. Hinkle holds a journalism degree and master’s in business administration from Arkansas State University. She is accredited in public relations and is a past president of the PRSA Arkansas Chapter.
