Entergy Arkansas Hosting Virtual Open House Through Friday for Walnut Bend Solar Project

Entergy Arkansas is hosting a virtual open house regarding the proposed Walnut Bend Solar Project now through Friday for residents in Brinkley, Marianna, Forrest City, Wheatley and surrounding communities in Lee County, along with other interested parties, to review and receive information.
The proposed project includes construction of a 100-megawatt solar generation facility on approximately 1,200 acres between Brinkley and Moro, and is pending approval by the Arkansas Public Service Commission. The project will be designed and constructed by Invenergy of Chicago and purchased by Entergy Arkansas upon completion, likely in late 2022.
The online open house at www.EntergyArkansas.com/WalnutBend gives area residents, local business owners and key officials an opportunity to view the proposed location of the facility, receive information about the project.
