Entergy named a top utility in economic development for 16th consecutive year

In 2022, Entergy Texas helped secure $16.6 billion in capital investments and created more than 2,500 new jobs in Texas

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Building a brighter future for communities has been a longstanding commitment for Entergy, which is why the corporation is proud to be recognized by Site Selection magazine as a top utility for economic growth for 16 consecutive years.

Capital investments in Texas over the last 16 years represent a variety of industries and companies from around the world, including Chevron Phillips Chemical, Optimus Steel, Air Liquide and OCI Global. Entergy Texas’ communities and projects have been recognized by Site Selection Magazine, Area Development, Texas Economic Development Council and the International Economic Development Council for their work in bringing billions of dollars in investments and thousands of jobs to the State of Texas.
