Entergy Recognized on Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index

Leadership in economic, environmental and social actions noted

New Orleans, La. – Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index, one of four electric utility companies designated a sustainability leader on the index.

Entergy earned top scores in five of the 25 evaluated areas: antitrust policy, scorecards/measurements, climate strategy, water-related risks and corporate citizenship and philanthropy. This reflects excellence across all sustainability dimensions -- economic, environmental and social.

"This recognition affirms both our company values and employee commitment to excellence and sustainable business practices," said Rod West, executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Entergy Corp.

This is the 14th consecutive year the Dow Jones Sustainability Index has included Entergy on either its World or North America index or both. More information on Entergy's sustainable business practices can be found in the company's integrated report.
