Renae Conley Assumes Leadership Responsibilities for Human Resources

NEW ORLEANS – Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) today announced that effective immediately Renae Conley is formally assuming the responsibilities of executive vice president, human resources and administration, completing a management transition first announced last summer by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer J. Wayne Leonard.

Conley, who was named executive vice president-designate, human resources and administration June 7, 2010, is succeeding Terry Seamons, senior vice president, human resources and administration, who is retiring at the end of 2011 as previously announced. Seamons will serve as senior vice president, organizational development and as an advisor to Conley for the remainder of 2011.

Conley previously served as president and chief executive officer of Entergy's Louisiana utilities between 2000 and 2010. She joined Entergy in 1999 as vice president of investor relations. Her professional career includes various leadership roles in the electric utility industry from line operations to corporate staff management. She served as president of Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company, a subsidiary of Cinergy Corp. and as president and chief executive officer of Cadence, a joint venture of Cinergy, New Century Energies and Florida Progress. At Cinergy, she also was vice president of sales and general manager of corporate communications and investor relations. Her background includes work in customer service, accounting, treasury and investor relations for PSI Energy.
