Power has been restored to nearly all Entergy Arkansas customers impacted by this week’s storms. Since the peak outage count of 39,370 during the evening of Aug. 18, Entergy Arkansas has successfully restored power to 99% of customers impacted.
Sunday evening thunderstorms brought heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning strikes into our service territory, causing fallen trees and broken tree limbs resulting in a peak outage count of 21,103.
With help from Entergy Arkansas, the Newport Tech Depot in northeast Arkansas is living out its own version of the movie, Field of Dreams.

Several rounds of strong winds, lightning and heavy rain moved through the state on Aug. 18, continuing into the early morning hours of Aug. 19, resulting in a peak of 39,000 customer outages.
