Bike the Big Easy on Oct. 13 helps raise funds for Entergy New Orleans’ The Power to Care customer assistance program.

Entergy’s eTech program helps Second Harvest Food Bank reduce energy costs, increase efficiency and improve operations. 

They weren’t summoned by the sheriff like in the Wild West. This posse was part of Posse New Orleans, the local chapter of a national program that provides college preparation, access and support for low-income minority students.

In June, approximately 100 students from kindergarten to 12th grades gathered in the Bennie G. Thompson Lecture Hall at Tougaloo College to kick off their annual week-long Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp. Entergy nuclear staff joined the assembly to present a $12,500 grant to support the five-day camp.

Entergy’s corporate social responsibility review committee has approved a grant of nearly $34,000 to River Parishes Community College for improvements to the welding shop. The grant comes after company personnel recommended safety improvements be made at the school.

Entergy Arkansas has contributed $25,000 to Bank On Arkansas+ to help low-income customers improve their lives by improving their access to bank accounts.

Energy-efficiency incentives from Entergy Arkansas are helping the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission save money by reducing the amount electricity costs at the AGFC's headquarters.
