Entergy Mississippi crews have made significant progress to restore power after Easter Sunday storms left nearly 41,000 customers without power. More than 22,700 customers have been restored and, as of 10 a.m., about 18,000 remain without power. We have more than 1,150 field workers, contractors and support staff assisting with our restoration efforts.

At 7:45 a.m., we had 116,015 customers out of service in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Crews expect to restore power tonight to the vast majority of Louisiana customers outside of Ouachita Parish, with some customers in remote areas of Webster and Bienville parishes receiving power tomorrow.

Severe weather rolled through Mississippi much of Easter Sunday, striking Entergy Mississippi’s service area particularly hard late in the evening on April 12. The line of storms caused extensive damage and as of 10 a.m., about 36,700 customers are without power, down from a peak of 40,779 customers yesterday at 11:30 p.m. We have implemented our restoration plan and workers are staying safe while restoring service where possible.
The recent storms knocked power out for 194,496 of our customers across our service territory. At 8:45 a.m., we had 169,733 customers out of service.
