Entergy has long partnered with the LSU College of Engineering to development the workforce of the future, and now, the company has partnered with them to further studies around electrification. Engineering students and members of the school’s TigerRacing team are designing and building an electric vehicle, in part, through a grant provided by Entergy.
Grants provided funding and support for broad-based initiatives ranging from disaster relief, education, workforce development, poverty solutions, the arts and community improvements in regions served by Entergy in Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New York and Texas.
Entergy is once again working with Grounds Krewe, a nonprofit organization focused on waste prevention, to increase Mardi Gras recycling efforts and expand the use of eco-friendly throws and consumable goods.
The Gulf South, particularly communities within Louisiana, is home to the largest industrial economy in the United States. The energy needs of this group of customers is unique and energy demands are growing, including new industry coming to Louisiana.
