U.S. Department of Labor recognizes Entergy’s commitment to recruiting and retaining veterans.

Thanks to Entergy’s $1 million partnership with SBP, the housing development features highly efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, lighting controls and appliances and boasts 450 solar panels and battery storage capable of supporting the building's energy demands.

The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded Entergy with its 2019 HIRE Vets Medallion Program Platinum Award. The award is the highest level of recognition for employers committed to veteran careers.

The Pro Patria Award recognizes employers who promote a supportive work environment for employees in the guard and reserves.

This first-of-its-kind project positions Entergy as a national leader in energy innovation and a vital partner in helping New Orleans address the significant challenges of affordable housing, resilience and climate change.
