Arctic air with snow and sleet made its way into the state Sunday, and currently there are approximately 2,400 Entergy Arkansas customers without power. We are mindful of the impact extreme cold temperatures have on our customers and will continue to work quickly and safely.
Some parts of our service area may see snow, ice, or freezing rain beginning this afternoon. This will be followed by an extended period of very low temperatures in all four states we serve.
While restoring power outages caused by severe weather and high winds that moved through the state Friday, Entergy Mississippi has also been monitoring and is prepared to respond to another major weather event expected across our service territory early this week.
As extreme cold moves into the state this weekend, Entergy Arkansas is working hard to make sure customers can stay warm by preparing equipment and resources.

Entergy has restored service to more than 22,086 customers. About 1,516 customers remain without power as of 1 p.m.
As of 7:00 p.m., 3,887 customers remain without power. Damage assessment has identified damages to 83 poles, 7 transformers, 58 cross arms, and 225 spans (61,875 feet) of downed wire. A workforce of over 580 damage assessors, vegetation crews, line workers, and support personnel are diligently working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible through this event.
Entergy Arkansas has restored more than 35,000 power interruptions as a result of severe weather that impacted the state overnight Thursday and throughout Friday.
