For the 15th year in a row, Site Selection magazine has honored Entergy Corporation, the parent company of Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans, as being among the top electric utilities in economic development for job creation and capital investments.
Entergy Louisiana recently began construction of an approximately $100 million transmission project that aims to build resilience and increase the reliability of its electric grid in southwest Louisiana.

Entergy’s Louisiana companies recently provided $200,000 to Greater New Orleans, Inc. to support the organization’s economic development efforts in 10 south Louisiana parishes. The funds will be used to create business development, retention and environmental programs in the Greater New Orleans area.
For the 12th year in a row, Entergy has been named one of the nation’s top utilities in economic development by Site Selection magazine. The award is due in large part to the vital role the company plays in economic development efforts across its four-state service territory of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
