Recognizing the hard work and dedication of Entergy employees, the Edison Electric Institute today awarded Entergy Corporation with its Emergency Response Award for the company's recovery efforts following Hurricane Ida in August 2021.
The Edison Electric Institute announced Entergy Corporation as a recipient of EEI’s Emergency Response Award for its recovery efforts following hurricanes Delta and Zeta in 2020, and the February 2021 winter storm.
Entergy received five response awards, including recovery awards for Hurricane Laura and severe thunderstorms last April, and assistance awards for hurricanes Sally, Isaias and Hanna.
The Edison Electric Institute today presented Entergy Corporation with the association's "Emergency Assistance Award" after a severe windstorm impacted Dallas in June. Entergy also received the association's "Emergency Recovery Award" for its outstanding power restoration efforts after Hurricane Barry hit Louisiana in July.
