Updates on restoration progress as of this afternoon
Entergy Arkansas has restored power to more than half of its customers who had outages from the storms late Easter Sunday and early Monday morning. About 57,000 outages remain, down from a peak of 128,000 during the severe thunderstorms.
Here's a restoration update as of 10 a.m. April 15.
The hard work by our restoration workforce has returned to service 63 percent of the customer outages caused by the Easter Sunday storms.
Crews have restored power to customers located outside of Ouachita Parish who could safely receive electric service following the Easter Sunday storms. The storm team is focused on hard-hit south Monroe, where crews expect to restore service to the remaining 3,000 customers by Thursday night.
Entergy Mississippi has restored power to more than 27,000 customers since storms struck the state causing damage and power outages for nearly 41,000 customers Sunday evening. As of 7 p.m. about 13,500 customers remain without power.
Repairs are underway, even as damage is being assessed.
