Crews and contractors supporting Entergy’s Louisiana utilities are on standby as the National Weather Service forecasts the potential for multiple winter storms to impact portions of the state throughout the weekend and into next week.

After the first winter storm affected portions of our northern territory, a series of additional winter storms are threatening our entire service territory. Customers should prepare for the effects of these additional winter storms.
The sleet and freezing rain that interrupted service to nearly 5,000 Entergy Arkansas customers over the last 24 hours has passed through the state. Restoration time for most customers without power is 10 p.m. tonight.
Crews were working to restore power Thursday to approximately 1,000 customers that remained without electricity, and those customers were expected to be restored by 10 p.m.

Workers are responding to outages and are gearing up for another round of storms forecast to arrive in a few days.
As the winter storm bears down on Arkansas, 900 restoration workers have arrived to assist our crews in responding to outages quickly and safely should they occur.
