Crews have restored power to more than 100,000 customers just one day after Hurricane Zeta tore through southeast Louisiana Wednesday afternoon.
We continue acquiring more resources for our restoration teams, with nearly 5,500 currently restoring service or en route for customers whose power has been affected by Zeta.
At the peak, the Category 2 storm knocked out power to approximately 480,000 customers in Louisiana. Crews have restored power to over 80,000 customers as of 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
Zeta disrupted power for approximately 480,000 Entergy customers.

Entergy Mississippi is preparing for the impacts of Hurricane Zeta, which is predicted to make landfall this afternoon over southeastern Louisiana as a strong Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane with maximum winds of 100 mph.
Entergy’s Louisiana utilities are prepared to mobilize a storm team of approximately 3,800 workers to respond to any impacts from Tropical Storm Zeta.
