As of 4:30 pm Entergy Texas has 84,448 customers currently without power, which is down from 108,891 at the peak of the storm.
Members of Entergy’s storm team are assessing damages and restoring power where it is safe to do so after Hurricane Delta made landfall Friday afternoon near Creole, Louisiana, as a Category 2 hurricane.
The remnants of Hurricane Delta caused widespread power outages throughout the Entergy Mississippi service territory. Thunderstorms, heavy rains and high winds will continue to impact our customers throughout the day Saturday.

Entergy Texas currently has more than 67,000 customers without power primarily in the Beaumont, Orange, Port Arthur and Winnie areas.
Hurricane Delta strengthened as it moved through the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to impact Entergy Arkansas customers starting Saturday.
