Entergy serviceman Justin Mitcham has been keeping the power flowing in the Deep East Texas area of Woodville since 2015, and this week he was honored as Lineman of the Game during the Saints vs. Cowboys match.

Entergy Texas has restored service to nearly all 40,000 customers that lost power during Tropical Storm Imelda.
As of 11:00 am, Saturday September 21, Entergy has restored power to all but 1,610 customers.
More than 700 additional workers have been brought into the region to assist with restoration efforts. Additionally, 13 high water trucks and several air boats are being utilized to reach areas that are flooded and inaccessible.

Crews have made significant progress today, restoring almost half of the number of customers who lost power yesterday.

Significant rainfall and flash flooding continue to affect our service territory. Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Harris, Galveston, Liberty, Chambers and Montgomery counties have been affected, with some areas receiving more than 30 inches of rain in the past 24 hours.
