Hurricane season officially starts June 1, but the Gulf of Mexico is already churning up tropical activity. With slightly above-average activity predicted for the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season, Entergy Texas wants you to know it is ready to safely and quickly restore power should a storm strike our area.

One-hundred and fifty-five Entergy employees in Louisiana logged approximately 750 hours as part of National Volunteer Week. In Baton Rouge alone, employees sorted and packed approximately 60,000 pounds of food over four days.

Although Entergy New Orleans employees give back to the community in which they live and work all year long, they wanted to give back in a special way during National Volunteer Month by helping those in need. That's why they returned to the Ozanam Inn to serve lunch to homeless men, women and children right here in the Crescent City.
