In recognition of Women's History Month, we spotlight women at Entergy who are powering life as we know it.

Armed with gloves, garbage bags and grabbers, Entergy employees and volunteers descended on areas around Lake Pontchartrain Saturday to help clean up and protect some of south Louisiana’s most precious green spaces and waterways.

But we also have a commitment that goes beyond that obligation. It is to help ensure that the communities we serve—and in which our employees and retirees live—are successful.

Support from the Entergy Charitable Foundation has helped New Schools for Baton Rouge respond to the community’s demand for excellence in public education by helping transform underperforming schools in the capital city.
