It has been nearly a year since Entergy Arkansas suspended disconnects for nonpayment. During this time, Entergy Arkansas also implemented an Enhanced Customer Assistance Plan that provides customers with flexible options to extend time to pay.
As of 8 a.m., there are approximately 690 customers without power. Cold weather continues today as temperatures are expected to remain at or below freezing until Saturday.

Entergy Arkansas is asking all customers – including residential, commercial and industrial – to decrease their electrical usage from 5 to 10 p.m., due to direction from reliability coordinator Midcontinent Independent System Operator regarding critical power shortages.
