Entergy Arkansas is asking all customers – including residential, commercial and industrial – to decrease their electrical usage from 5 to 10 p.m., due to direction from reliability coordinator Midcontinent Independent System Operator regarding critical power shortages.

About 1,400 workers will be assisting Entergy Arkansas in power restoration with the incoming winter storms moving across the state. If you lose power, please help us by turning off your appliances and heating units, so we can more quickly get the power restored to everybody.
The sleet and freezing rain that interrupted service to nearly 5,000 Entergy Arkansas customers over the last 24 hours has passed through the state. Restoration time for most customers without power is 10 p.m. tonight.
Workers are responding to outages and are gearing up for another round of storms forecast to arrive in a few days.
