Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP and Entergy Texas, Inc. recently partnered to improve energy efficiency and drive energy savings at Chevron Phillips Chemical’s headquarters in The Woodlands. This project, through the Entergy Solutions program, helps work with customers to provide unique solutions to take advantage of energy savings.
Residents in El Dorado may have noticed trucks and crews around town working on a significant equipment upgrade. Workers are scheduled to rebuild transmission lines through the middle of November. There will be more work in substations from December through February, although not as visible to customers.

For the 11th consecutive year, Site Selection magazine has named Entergy as one of the nation’s Top 10 utilities in economic development. The accolade comes as a result of Entergy’s part in supporting projects that resulted in nearly $4.25 billion of capital investment and the creation of more than 4,688 new jobs within the service territory in 2017.
Company continues to monitor, evaluate
Entergy Arkansas, Inc. will discontinue its efforts to identify potential routes for the Happy Valley Transmission Project, a project that was designed to provide continued reliable electric service in the west and central regions of Entergy Arkansas’ energy network.
Entergy Mississippi, Inc. has taken another step toward modernizing the electric grid and building the utility of the future. The company intends to purchase the Choctaw Energy Facility, a modern power plant in French Camp, Mississippi, subject to regulatory approval.
Even before the clouds passed, the rain ended and the final power outage was restored, Entergy employees came together to plan. First, Entergy worked to help customers and employees rebuild stronger communities. Entergy employees also worked to rebuild a stronger electric system. In the past year, Entergy Texas has taken steps to protect electric infrastructure, and improve restoration efforts following extreme weather.
