Entergy Launches Enriched Online Property Search Tool

For 10 years running, Site Selection magazine has named Entergy Corporation as one of the nation’s Top 10 utilities in economic development. The award is due in large part to the integral role Entergy played in supporting projects that resulted in nearly $27.5 billion of capital investment and the creation of more than 5,758 new jobs across its service territory.

Paving the way for a new source of local, reliable power, the Public Utility Commission of Texas today voted to approve a proposal by Entergy Texas, Inc. to build the Montgomery County Power Station, a 993 megawatt combined-cycle natural gas power plant in Willis, Texas.

Entergy New Orleans, Inc. filed an application with the New Orleans City Council today seeking approval to construct a modern, efficient electric generating facility, referred to as the New Orleans Power Station.
