Entergy Louisiana, LLC, a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation, announced today that on Dec. 16, 2020, it will redeem all $200,000,000 principal amount of its outstanding First Mortgage Bonds, 5.25% Series due July 1, 2052 and $100,000,000 principal amount of its outstanding First Mortgage Bonds, 4.70% Series due June 1, 2063, at the redemption price of 100% of the principal amount of the 2052 Bonds and 100% of the principal amount of the 2063 Bonds, plus accrued interest thereon to but excluding the Redemption Date.
Entergy Louisiana, LLC has restored power to all customers who can safely receive it after Hurricane Zeta significantly damaged the electric system in south Louisiana, including in hard-to-access coastal areas.
After four days of restoration work, Entergy’s storm team has made significant progress in power restoration, returning power to more than 416,000 customers.
At the peak, the Category 2 storm knocked out power to approximately 480,000 customers in Louisiana. Crews have restored power to over 80,000 customers as of 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
