In the aftermath of Harvey’s devastation, Southeast Texas showed the resilience to overcome. Neighbors, families and businesses stood together and rebuilt, stronger than ever. A year later, that rebuilding continues. This is why on the first anniversary of Hurricane Harvey hitting the Lone Star State, Entergy Texas is giving $300,000 to local educators, local governments and nonprofit organizations to replace items that Harvey destroyed.

Support from the Entergy Charitable Foundation has helped the JASON Alliance at Lamar University engage thousands of Southeast Texas students in fun and educational activities that foster their interest in science, technology, engineering and math fields.

This Thanksgiving could be a difficult one for victims of Hurricane Harvey, and Entergy Texas is making the season a little brighter by giving to those in need.

Super Tax Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 in Willis at the Parent Support Center, located at 606 N. Campbell Street. In addition to tax preparation assistance, Entergy’s local community partners are also offering a number of programs designed to help families use tax refunds to increase savings and financial well-being. Programs such as financial coaching, budget workshops, healthy food and lifestyle choices are some of the many services offered at Super Tax Day.

Super Tax Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 in Beaumont at the Gloria Ramirez Neighborhood Resource Center, located at 2850 Gulf Parkway.

Entergy Texas announced a $75,000 donation to the City of Beaumont to help fund the installation of new Light Emitting Diode (LED) streetlights at today’s City Council meeting.

For the sixth year in a row, Entergy Texas, Inc. is partnering with the United Christian Care Center in Vidor, providing a $1,500 grant to help ensure children here will have the supplies they need to start the school year.
