Crews are working to restore power to the hardest-hit areas with the majority of restoration wrapping up tonight.

Restoration efforts have been progressing well  from Sunday night’s weather and from the storm system that entered the Entergy Mississippi service territory at 5:30 pm Tuesday afternoon. The outages peaked at 9,010 at 8:30 pm Tuesday evening. As of 7 pm a little over 3,500 customers are without power.

Entergy Arkansas continues to make significant progress since the peak of more than 62,000 outages Sunday afternoon. Approximately 6,300 Entergy customers remain without power.

Daily temps will hover near or above 100 degrees for several days to come. Take these simple measures to help manage your energy bill.

Four structures are having to be replaced or rebuilt after storms destroyed them on Sunday.

A little over 17,000 customers are still without power, down from more than 62,000 out since the severe thunderstorms on Sunday.
