Work continues in restoring electricity the remaining 4,800 customers without power - down from over 44,000 customers after storms swept through the state on Sunday.
The restoration efforts are continuing and with another good weather today, progressing well. Restoration continues and as of 12:45 pm, we have 16,372 customers remaining without power. All customers who can safely receive power are expected to be restored by Wednesday night.
Entergy shareholders donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross to support cooling centers and help customers through this difficult time as the restoration efforts continue.
About 6,800 outages remain in the hardest-hit areas of Entergy Arkansas' service area. Crews are working hard to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible.
