The National Weather Service predicts frigid Arctic air and strong winds will impact most of our service area this week. Customers should prepare now and stay safe.
After working into the night and this morning, Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Louisiana crews and contractors have restored power to approximately 85% of customers in the hard-hit parishes of Jefferson, Orleans and St. Bernard.
As of 9:30 p.m. crews have successfully restored more than 29,000 customers – down from a peak of approximately 47,000 customers in Southeast Louisiana impacted by today’s severe weather.
Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Louisiana crews are assessing damage from severe weather that swept across the state and have begun the process of restoring power where it is safe to do so.
