The remnants of Hurricane Delta caused widespread power outages throughout the Entergy Mississippi service territory. As of noon today, about 12,700 customers remain without power, down from a peak of nearly 52,000 Saturday morning. A workforce of 2,500 Entergy employees, contractors and mutual assistance resources continue to safely restore power.

Entergy’s Light-Bulb Giveaway Helps Mississippians Boost Efficiency, Lower Bills

This year, Entergy Mississippi had a bright idea: give away 70,000 energy-efficient light bulbs to customers who are struggling financially because of the pandemic. The bulbs will help lower their homes’ energy use and save them money on their power bills.
Local business partner Flowserve worked with Entergy to expedite repairs of a circulating water pump at River Bend Nuclear Station.
