Given the economic effects of the pandemic, Entergy Mississippi suspended customer disconnections for non-payment of bills or for past-due amounts in March. During this time, the company implemented an Enhanced Customer Assistance Plan that provides new flexible options to extend time to pay. Entergy crews and additional resource workers have made significant progress restoring power to the nearly 52,000 customers who lost power Saturday as a result of Hurricane Delta. As of 7 a.m., 93% of customers have been restored with around 3,600 customers remaining without power.
