Crews have restored power to more than 100,000 customers.

As of 6 p.m., power has been restored to approximately 93% of the customers who lost power as a result of these storms and 3,500 customers remain without power in the heaviest hit areas near El Dorado and Magnolia. 

Our restoration workers have restored 61% of the electrical power outages caused by Hurricane Laura. Our workforce will continue its safe, quick work until everyone’s power is restored.

At the height of the storm, approximately 270,000 Louisiana customers were without power. As of 9 a.m. Sunday, approximately 174,000 customers remain without power.

Entergy Texas continues to make great progress restoring power since Hurricane Laura hit the shores of Texas and Louisiana. 

Damage assessments have identified a total of 252 broken poles, 328 damaged pieces of equipment and over 694 spans of downed wire across the state still needing to be repaired.
