Entergy Mississippi has restored power to about 26,000 customers since Tropical Storm Ida caused power outages for approximately 46,000 customers on Monday. As of 2 p.m., about 20,000 customers remain without power.

Entergy has restored power to 85,000 customers following one full day of assessing damage brought by Hurricane Ida and restoring power to those who can take it.

Entergy Mississippi customers are experiencing power outages as a result of what is now Tropical Storm Ida, bringing heavy rains and high winds impacting the service territory. As of this report, 40,429 customers are without power.

Entergy Arkansas will respond as quickly as is safely possible to power outages in Arkansas today as remnants of Hurricane Ida pass through the state throughout the day.

At 7 a.m., we had 888,229 power outages in Louisiana due to Ida’s destruction. Power outages continue to increase today as the storm moves through Mississippi.

Entergy is prepared to mobilize as remnants of Hurricane Ida begin to enter the southeastern and eastern parts of the state beginning tomorrow morning.
