Entergy continues to make restoration progress following Hurricane Ida’s destructive path through southeast Louisiana and Mississippi. After nearly four days of restoration, Entergy has restored 179,000 customers.
Halfway into the fourth day of restoration work, Entergy has restored 172,000 of customers who lost power due to Hurricane Ida and progress continues.
Thunderstorms rolled through the state on Wednesday, causing additional widespread outages for customers in Entergy Mississippi’s service territory from Holmes and Attala counties down to the I-20 corridor. As of 7 a.m., about 19,500 customers are without power. Approximately 12,000 of those outages are due to yesterday’s severe weather and the remaining 7,500 are associated with Hurricane Ida.

Storms bringing heavy winds in some areas have moved through the southwestern and southern portions of Arkansas, causing widespread power outages.
